I am still suffering from the sunburns that the basketball session on Sunday has given me.

Spring and Autumn have always been invisible; fast to arrive and equally fast to leave Singapore, Winter never visits, and Summer often overstays its welcome. The weather has been, to be putting it mildly, unpredictable and uncomfortable.

Hot and steamy sounds like a wonderful description of a session of sex, which unfortunately serves also to describe the feeling of a short 5 minute walk after rain. Hot and wet is also the perfect conditions for new cultures, of the bacteria, that is. The weather is perfect for plants and organisms. Mosquitoes and insects find it the ideal condition to breed and reproduce.

If only the Singapore population feels the same...
